Casa Paladin: when being rewarded is a style

Three ” 5 grapes ” Bibenda 2017, a special mention of the guide ” Vitae” 2017 and many other awards for companies at Casa Paladin: a success that goes beyond the individual awards.

After years of hard work, important investments, aware of the trust placed on the ” Reasoned Viticulture project”, Casa Paladin reaps the fruits of a beautiful “harvest “. In October 2016, it conquers, some among the most prestigious awards for Italian wines, in addition to a year of awards on several fronts by the various companies of the group: Paladin Vigne e Vini (Veneto), Bosco del Merlo (Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia), Castello Bonomi (Lombardy) and Premiata Fattoria di Castelvecchi (Tuscany).

Awards that don’t speak only about exceptional wines, but about the overall style and method of a high-profile business, as is evident from the motivation that goes with the special mention of the guide “Vitae” 2017 by Italian Association for CASA PALADIN’s Castello Bonomi: “wines that have contributed to the creation of a turning-point in production for the territory of origin, which represent reference models of unique value in the area “. Vitae 2017 rewards also with the 4 Vines (Certificate of excellence) Lucrezia Etichetta Nera Castello Bonomi. The Award ceremony will take place on Saturday 29th October in Milan.

We also have to remember the “5 grapes” assigned to Lucrezia Etichetta Nera 2006 and Dosage Zèro 2009, two Franciacorta wines near to Rosé Riserva 2006 and Cru Perdu 2004, winners last year of the most prestigious Bibenda award.

“What is important is not the exploitation of a single wine, but the ability to be always at the highest level on the whole line of our production”, remember the brothers Lucia, Carlo and Roberto Paladin.

Moreover we have to quote the 4 Stars by “Vini Buoni d’Italia” 2017 won by CruPerdu, Gran Cuvée, Dosage Zéro, and the 4 Stars and the crown of the same guide (won again! ) by Lucrezia Etichetta Nera, which is also “Big break” in Veronelli 2017 guide.

The concept of quality “without compromise” is confirmed also by the other Casa Paladin wines awarded with the ” 5 grapes “: Vineargenti Bosco del Merlo, which recaptures the important award after fifteen years. This precious reserve, from 70 % Merlot and 30 % Refosco grapes, dresses of the original label by the artist Fabrizio Plessi, which has helped to make it memorable: a meeting between enology and art, which maintains its value over time.

We also have to mention the Oscar for the excellent value for money in the guide Berebene Gambero Rosso 2017 assigned to Chardonnay Nicopeja Bosco del Merlo and the Bronze Medal (88 points) received by Prosecco Brut Bosco del Merlo at Decanter Wine Asia Awards (Dawa 2016).

Speaking about passion, dedication and grand opening at the international market are also the latest successes of the Tuscan estate Premiata Fattoria di Castelvecchi: The Silver Medal (91 points) obtained by Capotondo 2014 at Decanter Asia Wine Awards (Dawa 2016) and the TOP Hundred Award (the best 100 Italian wines selected by journalists Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti) assigned to Gran Selezione Madonnino della Pieve.
